The humanitarian activist said Corrales Garcia's death is part of the de facto Government crackdown against members of the Resistance Front  .

A member of the Resistance Front against the coup in Honduras was beheaded on Friday night allegedly by the police under the command of de facto regime that governs the country, according to the chairman of the Committee for the Defense of Rights Human (CODEH), Andres Pavon.
"The body of Santos Corrales Garcia was found yesterday (Friday) near Talanga (50 km east of the capital) and the head has not yet appeared," denounced Pavón
The activist told that Corrales had been detained on Dec. 5 at Nueva Colonia Capital, south of Tegucigalpa, five people dressed in uniforms of the National Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DNIC) with Galil rifles and 9mm pistols and transported in a blue Tacoma vehicle.
He said the deceased was tortured to extract information about the location of Ada Marina Castillo, a merchant who provided food and supplies to members of the Front as a contribution to support their expressions of struggle against Roberto Micheletti and for the return of the constitutional President , Manuel Zelaya.
"During the abduction they put black bags on your  heads to make you lose your orientation, or underground places, that were alleged police cells, in the interrogation they were asked about  Ada Marina Castillo," he said.
Pavon said Corrales were arrested along with other members who respond to the names of Vilma Martinez, Yamilet Sandra Ordonez, Luis Carballo and Isidro Baca, who were also brought with hands and feet bound, on the outskirts of the northern capital and Baca, in Choluteca, 120 km south of Tegucigalpa, and ordered him to leave the neighborhood where he lives by "orders of government."
"We believe this horrendous crime joins others that have occurred, where the bodies show signs of brutal torture, and cutting out their tongues and ears," said CODEH in a statement."This aggression, low intensity, is directed to the construction of collective fear," he said.
The humanitarian activist said Corrales Garcia's death are part of a de facto Government crackdown against members of the Resistance Front.
Honduras is experiencing a political crisis following the coup against President Manuel Zelaya on 28 June, which later installed a de facto government that still remains  in power , despite the rejection of much of the international community.
