The election suitcases  of some municipalities presented some changes and problems, so the Supreme Electoral Tribunal (TSE) tried to resolve them since yesterday.

For that matter, it was reported that two ballot boxes were opened as inconsiderate in the municipality of Santa Ana, Francisco Morazán.

Cesar Mendoza Commissioner liaison between the Police and the Supreme Electoral Tribunal (TSE), after confirming this, said a committee of that body left for the sector to investigate the situation.

Said he was unaware who committed the wrongdoing, but will attempt to disclose their identity to proceed as required by law.

Nevertheless, said the electoral process has been cleansed of what can attest to international observers.

For its part, the election director, Carlos Romero, also acknowledged that in the municipality of San Ignacio, in the same jurisdiction, there was a similar problem, but it is already held by the electoral authorities. Another problem arose in Dulce Nombre de Copán, which is being investigated by relevant agencies, he added.

"It is an electoral crime electoral opening a suitcase arbitrarily and who does it is exposed to heavy penalties," said the official.
