San Jose (AFP) - The presidents of Costa Rica, Oscar Arias, and Panama, Ricardo Martinelli, warned Tuesday the president "elected" in Honduras, Porfirio Lobo, must make the de facto ruler resigns, Roberto Micheletti, if he  wants to achieve international recognition.

Arias and Martinelli, the only Central American presidents who recognized the disputed elections in Honduras, met in San Jose with Lobo, making his first trip abroad after the election, for support to end the isolation that lives Honduras since the coup June 28.

"I think there are certain things that do not exist. It will be very difficult for the international community is willing to accept the incoming government" , "Arias said, referring to Micheletti who should step aside so that Wolf doesn't  receive the controversial power from the de facto ruler.

"We urge the upcoming president to make his position that a lot depends now on what will be his new government.Urge  Micheletti to that the time has come for us to think first of the Honduran people," Martinelli said in a joint conference with Arias and Lobo Wolf.

Arias, who received Martinelli and Lobo at his  home, said he has been "in contact with presidents of the continent, also the president of the European Union and this is a widespread feeling" t.
