The de facto Honduran Congress, which on Wednesday discussed the return to power of the constitutional president, Manuel Zelaya, who dismissed after the coup on June 28, determined not to return, with 111 votes against and 14 for the return of President . On Monday, the dignitary Zelaya announced that he would not accept their return. "No refund to legitimize the coup nor to endorse a process that is totally null and void," he said, referring to Sunday's elections illegitimate.
During the session convened after nearly six months since the coup, security forces under the command of the system of Roberto Micheletti, stayed away to hundreds of supporters who swamped the legitimate representative of the outskirts of the legislature.
"It is no stranger, I (...) I spoke out against the coup," he said as he began his speech in the debates, the liberal deputy for the department of Coplan, Elvia Argentina Valle,
He wondered, "how can we believe in a system where you have violated all their rights," referring to President Zelaya.
"I believe in the system. I understand that one can make mistakes but that the authorities continue to commit them is unbelievable," he said
"History has told us that they consume too much budget and consuming coups," he said, after mentioning the conservative politicians and the de facto authorities.
"It's unfortunate the situation that we have split the justices," complained, arguing that all state bodies have acted outside the legal framework.
"There is no credibility in the institutions," he said, adding that it "is terrible aberration, that after five months, thinking that they will investigate the protections" in favor of President Zelaya, whom it accuses of assumptions crimes. In this context, given the prevailing constitutional, the dignitary asked that his case is processed by the United Nations Organization (UNO).
"This is not done nothing against the soldiers who expatriated (Zelaya), this is not done nothing against the violation of human rights," he recalled.
Meanwhile, lawyer and member of the Liberal Party (PL), Angel Edmundo Orellana, had warned that if the whole Zelaya would not reinstating long-term legal consequences.
"If here is not decreed an amnesty everyone who participated on 28 June will have to be outstanding lifetime that process, because it is a crime of limitations. They replaced the sovereign will of the people," he said at the beginning of discussions.
