Attorney accuses Micheletti to incite revenge

Diario Tiempo (see note) It is a totally irresponsible action to accuse the Popular Resistance Movement of  the death of the daughter of journalist Cabrera. (Roberto) Micheletti is inciting repression and revenge, "the lawyer  Fredin Funes Bar from the Front of Lawyers Against Coup said yesterday , referring to allegations made yesterday by the de facto president.

Micheletti said publicly yesterday that the Popular Resistance gunmen killed the daughter of the presenter of Channel 8 and other programs in media, Carol Cabrera.

Katherine Rodriguez Cabrera (16), died Tuesday night of several shots fired by unknown when other people were transported in a vehicle.

"It is serious  when the de facto president and the person who is supposed to be directing law enforcement agencies and the Armed Forces and Police says this," said Funes.

The legal professional said that no one can "cheer for what happened to the girl, but is a total irresponsibility Roberto Micheletti has expressed that."

JUSTIFICATION
He regretted that at this time where a national dialogue is promoted this takes place, but "it is encouraging to repression and revenge. Although  a de facto authority holds power these should not be the words of someone who has a responsibility. "

For the  professional of law what Micheletti   is doing is "justifying any death that may come to colleagues in the Resistance. It is giving the green light to kill. "

He said such statements would be  expected of any "coup fan, but not of him. He's pointing without any evidence and we remind you that the resistance continues to maintain a peaceful attitude, so   such accusations are not acceptable. "

CODEH
"These are acts of violence in the Plan of December with the crimes committed, which can be executed by factual forces of power that have armed groups to promote hate speech": said Andres Pavon, president of the Defense Committee Human Rights in Honduras (CODEH).
