1 .- Micheletti's statements are given in connection with massacres of people across the country, assassinations against human rights defender, Walter Tróchez; Jessenia Hernandez Karen Mondragon who died today at the Hospital Escuela because of being shot on 14 December, the disappearance of Carlos Roberto Turcios Maldonado, leader of the National Resistance Front, on 15 December in San Pedro Sula and the persecution and illegal detention against the peasants of the Unified Movement of Peasants Aguán MUCA.
2 .- In these statements the dictator Micheletti e accuses the resistance of being responsible for the murder of the young Rodriguez Cabrera, they are harbinger of more blood to be shed in the country, more persecution and violence against those who have decided to confront this de facto regime led by Micheletti and by Romeo Vasquez-Velasquez and political-business groups who carried out the coup against the constitutional president Manuel Zelaya Rosales in June 28 th
3 .- We denounce the statements made to media by the dictator is once more another act of irresponsibility being commited by him since June 28th, with the aim of attacking the Resistance, he would be imprisoned if in the country there was thorough research of these statements of the dictator spreading hatred and driving to murder because young Nicolle belongs neither to the resistance or is a member of the coup. It only requires a national broadcast program to blame the resistance of the death of young Edwin Canaca, which occurred today at dawn.
4 .- We note tha they t are the prelude to a further escalation of repression against the media who have courageously stood firm in denouncing the atrocities of this regime to date, which has claimed over 30 lives, hundreds of tortured, persecution, threats, surveillance, in short, a strategy of terror to subdue the Honduran people and to accept the coup as something normal.
5 .- We also denounce the expressions of contemptby Mr Oscar Andrés Rodríguez towards the people of Honduras , who has said that the country's strafing occurred only in the mind of those who denounce such arbitrarities, one needs only to see the well documented facts that the COFADEH and other human rights organizations have done. We encourage you to seek information at the offices of the organizations that try to defend human rights and accompany victims to the demands of justice.
6 .- As a consequence of political persecution the Committee for Prisoners and political exiles persecuted by the dictatorship has been formed. This instance is intended to operate against this persecution.
7 .- From this humanitarian space, we ask Micheletti, Romeo Vasquez Velasquez and all his accomplices to take responsibility , who knows of how many people of the worsening of the repression of members of the Resistance and make an urgent call to the international human rights to expedite actions to safeguard the lives of the Honduran people.
