The Brazilian Embassy correspondent denounces lies of La Prensa and El Heraldo (Two main newspapers in Honduras, who by the way support the de facto government inconditionally)

folhaA "reporters" who are using this blog for misrepresenting, fabricating, and lie, I implore you, please stop it now. This cowardly way to partisan politics on behalf of journalism only hurts my work is misinforming its readers, and feeds the polarization in an environment that is already too complicated.

Today came two pieces of fiction dressed in journalism. The most incredible and surreal is that while competitors, the newspapers "La Prensa and El Heraldo attributed the same phrases and misinformation. Who is the inventor and that you copied, I do not care, they are two very bad examples of journalistic misconduct.

Both phrases put in my mouth that never, ever have said or written.

Where they got that "In the Brazilian Embassy to steal to survive confinement" or "thieves and victims are inside, as one enters the building or out easily???

Where the information collected on this blog that "Zelaya's supporters refused to share the food that the Organization of the United Nations, UN, sent to the embassy with paid employees to look after Brazilians ."???

I told him if there was theft at the embassy, but that is almost two weeks ago, when the unnecessary and, according to the UN, illegal police cordon and military spending kept very basic things, like toothbrushes, and the embassy was more full. If, stole my towel, but as the information is published without describing the block we live here, with so many restrictions, the story is half and with clear political intent, not inform.

Finally I ask you, if indeed they want to use my information, they get a translator of Portuguese, Spanish and / or at least put a link to my blog so that readers can directly access.

For those who like fiction, follow the links to the notes
