While Lobo tells the world there is an agreement, forty farmers are criminally charged in Aguan

While the Porfirio Lobo tells  the international community that there is a negotiation with the farmers of Lower Aguan, in an area that is totally militarized, yesterday a total of forty farmers from several communities have been criminally charged:

by assuming  them responsible  for the crime of theft, another measure of pressure, like prison is  for all farmers. However, these farmers according to our law, could not be benefited by the agrarian reform, as the law states that no-one who is convicted can be. Farmers of Lower Aguan are under three pressure conditions, under military weapons, the threat of jail,  along with the Public Ministry and the exclusion of agrarian benefit by claiming a right they have.

"The agreement" means continuing capturing farmers in the Aguán

Security guards of the company Orion,  at Facusse's service, on Tuesday morning, April 14 at 8:00 am, captured Darwin Alexander Carranza and Marvin Ventura who travelled in a  motorcycle and headed towards the Camarones Cooperative. 


They were  four masked guards, whose  names are  Santos Carcamo Luis Sarmiento and Brayan Guardado, this is one of the guards, who is mostly persecuting peasants in previous ocassions. 

They took the them   away in a white Toyota  3.0 car without license plates  at 8:00 am . Residents say  they  were on their way towards the road leading to Tocoa.
