President Lobo, elected in a poll executed right during the coup, and his government, are questioned  for considering it illegitimate and illegal by most of the governments of Latin America and the Caribbean.
The  questioned president reported he will go to Colombia to thank Uribe for his solidarity with the Central American country, following the political crisis that exists in Honduras due to the overthrow of the constitutional president, Jose Manuel Zelaya in June 2009.
"On 29 President Uribe was here making a visit to the Presidential House, giving us a very sympathetic support and much needed at that time," said the president elected in a process that was not observed or endorsed by the Organization of American States (OAS ) or the United Nations Organization (UNO).
In Honduras the safety program is "within the framework of respect for human rights and, above all, with a large ingredient of both public safety by way of representative democracy as well as the way  the  of participatory democracy," said Lobo who assured  that he will strengthen the relationship with Colombia.
Colombia signed with the United States a security agreement that includes the installation of seven U.S. military bases; this without supervision and under the assumption of ensuring public safety and combating drug trafficking.
The agreement between Bogota and Washington had a strong rejection by the countries of the region, notably Ecuador and Venezuela, as well as intergovernmental organizations such as the Bolivarian Alternative for the peoples of our America (ALBA) and the Union of South American Nations (UNASUR .)
On Peru, the de facto successor to the regime said that on  May 26 he will visit  President Alan Garcia, whom he also has "admired for his administration."
He said he hopes to learn from his Peruvian counterpart some of the programs that the Garcia government carries out, is particularly those who "have to do with helping those most in need."
The visit to the Andean region will serve to "learn from societies like theirs, which have been developed and whose people have improved their living conditions," said the Honduran leader.
Wolf stressed that as the governments of Colombia and Peru, that of Costa Rica also expressed its solidarity.
The former president of Costa Rica, Oscar Arias, was one of the leaders who supports the Government of Lobo, and the latter visited him last week to thank him before the end of its mandate on May 8.
