More rewards to the putschists!: The Military who led former President Zelaya's abduction is rewarded with promotion

Does the shamelessness of this government know any boundaries? If   the fact that Lobo appointed the coup General Vasquez Velasquez to be the manager of the Honduran State telephone company HONDUTEL earlier this year was not enough proof of this , now the other military who led the coup will also get promoted and rewarded.

Who's really the boss in Honduras?

In spite of Lobo's claims that his government is one of "reconciliation and union" and Hillary Clinton pushing for Honduras reintegration to the OAS because " Honduras complies with all requirements", the self-amnesty of all the ones who executed the coup and their rewards for being "heroes" has taken place, except for Zelaya, who would face persecution and arrest orders if he came back to Honduras by the same Supreme Court participating in the coup. All are without a doubt,  "non-partisan" actions  anyone in their  right mind would describe as  "reconciliatory", right? That is for sure going to "unite" the Honduran family, but the Honduran family of putschists and the ones  who supported the coup, not the population.

The Military who led former President Zelaya's abduction is rewarded with promotion

The National Congress will ratify today the promotion of five soldiers who "participated and planned" the coup d'etat against President Manuel Zelaya Rosales, said the deputy of the Democratic Unification, Sergio Castellanos.
Among the promotions, the highlight is  the promotion of Lieutenant Colonel  René Antonio Bueso Hepburn, who executed the forceful entry issued by the Supreme Court to the home of Zelaya Rosales on June 28, 2009, followed by his expulsion from the country.
According to Castellanos, these promotions turn into useless any attempt  Porfirio Lobo makes  to legitimize his government and national reconciliation.
The accommodation of the military protagonists of the coup has been evident in the current government, as in the cases of coup General Romeo Vasquez Velasquez coup located in the management of the National Telecommunications Company, Hondutel, the former  member of the junta of military commanders, Venancio Cervantes Suazo, as head of the Department of Migration and Alien Affairs, and General Manuel Enrique Caceres Diaz as Director of Civil Aviation.
