Military represses women in SPS

We report three men and a person beaten up by the police in San Pedro Sula where Women in Resistance in San Pedro Sula were preparing their blankets for the commemoration of International Women's Day in Plaza Libertad.

Central Park was militarized because of  the preparations for the inauguration  of mayor of Dr. Juan Carlos Zuniga. The police officer arrived Miranda and said in an angry tone  that  he would prevent any act of protest in this day.

They beat a vendor that accompanies the activities of the Resistance, they arrested three young men who supported women in the assembly of the celebration, they also seized the blanket  alluding to  Women's Day.

Some members of the  Resistance Front had mobilized to the police facilities to demand the release of the young people.

For their part  Resistance Women have moved ahead Square Libertdad in the atrium of the Cathedral to develop the activity.
