http://www.ifex.org/honduras/2009/07/07/nahun_palacios_victim/es/(C-Libre/IFEX) - The head of the Aguan television station, Channel 5, Nahum Palacios, denounced that he has been a victim of attacks against freedom of expression in Honduras, from part of the military in Tocoa Colon, who went to the extreme of confiscating his technical equipment.
The military action was to prevent further transmitting of images of protests asking for the return of expatriated President Manuel Zelaya, said Palacios. "They seized my whole equipment, did serious damage to the facilities, I was sought as a criminal by the mere act of publishing some images," he added.
With great fear for his life and his family, the communicator described what happened on June 30 2009 when he suffered the outrage done by the military.
